Why Sunjel Fuel?
- Sunjel burns into water vapors so there aren’t any fumes, toxins or smoke. This means it is safe to
burn the Sunjel [in the fireplace] anywhere and around anyone.
- It’s easy! Simply remove the label, shake the Sunjel can, pop off the lid and hold your long stick
match or BBQ lighter to the gel. Watch as your flame slowly begins!
- Each can of Sunjel fuel burns for 2-3 hours.
- If you’ve extinguished the flame early, you simply place the lid back on the cooled, gel can and save it
for use at a later time.
- Each can yields up to 3,000 BTU’s. This means the temperature in the room will rise 2 degrees per
can, per hour. Feel free to use a maximum of 3 cans at a time (except with the Chiminea Insert- use
only 1).
- Sunjel crackles so you get the real effect of burning wood. The better you shake the can before
opening, the more crackles you’ll get.
